What is the best social media platform?
There are so many different ways to see success on social media. With a plethora of platforms and strategies to test out, pinpointing the best strategy for your business can be a daunting task. As a business we recommend being involved in the top 3 as a minimum. These are Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn.
Should I be on every Social Network?
There are social media platforms out there for everything and everyone, including ones to connect people with shared interests, similar hobbies, comparable demographics, and much more. The point is that there are way too many social networking sites out there to ever have a presence on them all, and your time would be better spent focusing on the sites that get the most traffic.
Is print really dead?
Print hasn’t disappeared, but its role sure has changed. Newspapers, for example, are no longer the cornerstone of marketing. Heck, neither is TV! People have more news and entertainment choices than ever before and myriad ways to consume them. Advertisers have to embrace an integrated content marketing approach. What’s funny is that print, once the old-fashioned content marketing staple, can now actually feel unique—a way to break thought the digital advertising clutter.
I'm starting out. Do you have some advice?
- Know your market and users well.
- Listen to customer feedback.
- Think outside the box.
- Test fast. Fail fast. If you see a marketing campaign is not producing results. stop it!
- Advertise from multiple angles.
- Give customers a place to review you. Good or Bad. They all matter.
- Don’t just sell, engage!
